Today, we had a productive meeting at Victoria University ( @VUKampala) to discuss the role of technology and Artificial Intelligence in the evolving tourism industry.

Joined by Hon. Mr. Muganga (@ReachDrMuganga) , we explored innovative ways of marketing Uganda using AI and making it easier for tourists to access information about destinations, attractions, and travel experiences across the country.

Our discussions focused on developing digital systems that will enable travelers to seamlessly plan their trips, discover hidden tourism gems, and promote Uganda’s aviation sector by increasing visibility for our airlines and travel services.

I am proud to have been part of this important conversation. A special round of applause to Victoria University for taking the lead in fostering innovation and creating platforms that bring together stakeholders to shape the future of tourism in Uganda.
