NEW: Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Austin Maddox arrested in an underage s*x sting after he was caught trying to meet up with a 14-year-old.

Maddox was one of 28 people arrested in the sting.

The former MLB pitcher could be seen trying to enter a home when he was ambushed by police officers who set the trap.

Maddox was slapped with four felony counts, including traveling to meet after using a computer to solicit a child.

After finding out the girl he thought he was messaging was 14, Maddox allegedly said: "That's young, baby. I get in trouble for that. You can't even drive. You gonna stay with me all night?"

Maddox then agreed to meet up with the girl where he was arrested.

He is being held on a $300,000 bond.
