I never knew that the university of Chicago was involved with slavery. #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

I knew slavery was still active up north but never realized how deep it ran. #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

@ShultsGrace I agree

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

Very cool to learn from an article written by my own professor! #AuburnWorldHistory

I believe a world ruled by neoliberalism or a country even would be the cause of its own instability, while proclaiming a secured way of life. #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

Neoliberalism is still very confusing to myself, and I feel as if it contradicts itself at its own core. #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

@AuburnHistory3 I was very confused

This was my favorite video this semester, due to how recent the Cold War was #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

I never realized how important the Cold War was when compared to the future of the world. #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

I enjoy learning about the Cold War the most #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

@ShultsGrace I agree

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

@JackUlrich10 I agree

This video made me think of how bad life was for an African American veteran. On one side of life you are ducking bullets and on the other you are taking abuse and punishment for your own skin. #AuburnWorldHistory

“We’ve been kicked,shunned and segregated.” -Florine Wilkes Poem in “We want to set the world on fire” #AuburnWorldHistory

“And the nations of the world keep the wound from healing, we must be our own physician to effect a healing world.” - “We want to set the world on fire.” #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

This video has shown me what a dark past, but some forget that discrimination has been around for different ethnicities or tribes even, and the true crime is discrimination in itself. #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

From the title alone “We want to set the world on fire.” Shows the sheer emotion that she poured into her message. #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

It is sad to see such bravery, all to be treated so unfairly! #AuburnWorldHistory

[Walker O’Dell @WalkerODell4]

@CarolineMccrary I couldn’t agree more
