A picture I meant to put up earlier following the death of Paddy Fenning. The match report I found in a drawer on my granduncle Jim Dooleys farm after his passing. Dated 16th October 1972 restored and framed and hanging in our premises in Killyon, Co.Offaly.
We are so glad that Paddy put so much work into the Arts Centre fundraiser and helped us to get to the stage we are at today.
Best of luck to all the walkers and committee!

Crunched a hell of a lot of numbers this week.
Offaly won their first All-Ireland 50 years ago tomorrow with a population of less than 51,829, the smallest of any county to win an All-Ireland in either code. #GAA

Only a complete anorak would guess the county next to them in football given their current sprawling population. 🤔
Laois in 1915 the least populous county to win the hurling but Offaly had a smaller proportion of the total population when winning their four titles. #GAA
