Not the rhythm guitarist on Mother and Child Reunion or the lad from Love Island. NUFC supporter since 1963 - my therapies of choice are Cycling & Heaton Stan
They’re €500m in debt.
There’s Premier League clubs that owe, or have owed around a billion (if you believe your papers) and if anything they only seem keen to enforce rules that keep the chasing pack from overtaking them. 🫡
Craig Bellamy still can't believe he's Wales manager as he reflects on his first 5 games in charge 😱⚽
He says he wants Wales to be "a really good footballing nation."

🧢 Above all, for NUFC, it sends a message to would-be signings. Three uncapped players arrived on Tyneside and, within 16 months, they were all England internationals.
This is startling, and you have to guess if this man hadn't called an experienced journalist by accident he would've got away with this.... https://t.co/ZL623U406v
@holland_tom@TheRestHistory I think you’ll find that the greatest hero in the history of the world ever is actually Cuthbert Collingwood, the real winner of the Battle of Trafalgar!
Who better to weigh in on Rachel Reeves’s "spiteful" budget, his views splashed across the Times front page, than vacuum cleaner maker James Dyson?
The Brexit supporter turned tax exile, warns the 20% "Family Death Tax" will kill off family businesses—though he omits mention of his vast estate and Singapore-based HQ.

🔴TORY CORRUPTION
Do you agree #police should investigate where £37 billion pounds of taxpayers' money went❓
@RishiSunak - £5 BILLION of Covid-19 bailouts handed to firms based in tax havens.
Where is our money❓
@MirrorPolitics
Left: CEO of NHS England Amanda Pritchard explains how in summer 2020 they knew there would be pressures on the NHS to cope with another wave, that senior Conservative politicians heard first hand accounts, and that it was 'terrifying' #CovidInquiry
Right: Despite this there was a huge party breaking every covid rule at CCHQ, with dancing, singing, food. It was hosted by Shaun Bailey who instead of being prosecuted is now sitting in the House of Lords
The Met police resisted investigating this party at CCHQ. Eventually they investigated. And despite the investigation and clear breaches of every covid rule, the Met police took no action which shows clear corruption at the Met police - shame on them
This was also the same time that Allegra Stratton was filmed on camera joking about parties in Downing Street. Question has to be asked why she was the only one fired/who quit from this, despite there being many others in the room she was being filmed in
At one of the most difficult times at the start of the pandemic both Downing Street and CCHQ repeatedly breached the rules they imposed on the rest of us, despite knowing how bad things were under the strain of covid in the NHS - shame on Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak and everyone else in the Conservative party that did this
The Sun can say what it likes about Lineker. But Lineker never ran an entirely fictitious front-page story accusing Liverpool fans of picking the pockets of corpses.
@jk_liv@SamueILFC Referees are employed by the Premier League. The clubs ARE the Premier League so of course they’re going to favour the Super League Cartel. If Coote is consciously or sub-consciously giving decisions against Liverpool what do you think they’re doing to the other 14 clubs?
The Premier League is corrupt, the PGMOL are corrupt and the referees are corrupt and today has shown clear evidence of David Coote exposed of all this.
Best league in the world with the most corrupt organisation officiating.
I remember where I was when I watched the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth and how I sat stunned at the end. One of the best pieces of tragicomic writing ever, in any form; worth another look today of all days.
Lee Anderson, doing the whole ‘Do you know who I am?!’ performance, and swearing at a security guard for just trying to do his job - keeping people like Lee Anderson safe. What a cunt.
