Yesterday 28 pupils took part in the regional athletics event in Dumfries. 12 podiums and 2 regional champions, with Ruby in shot putt and Orla in High jump! Well done everyone! 🏃🏼@WallaceHallSch

Huge congratulations to Mia (S4) and Murrin (S5) who have been selected for the @GlasgowWarriors squad. This is a massive achievement for the girls and shows how their hard work and determination has paid off over the last couple of seasons. Well done! @WallaceHallSch

Well done to both junior and senior netball teams who took part in league games against St Joseph’s College last week. The junior team won one and lost one, whilst the seniors won their game! Both teams have one more game this season 🏐 @WallaceHallSch

Well done to the S1-2 girls football team who competed in the national SPAR 7’s tournament at Dumfries High School. They just missed out on qualifying for the national finals after narrowly losing a sudden death penalty shootout out! ⚽️ @WallaceHallSch

Dr Turner’s Hockey success 🏆

Well done to our S1’s who took park in the regional Dr Turners Hockey competition. Both teams lost only one game all day, with the girls finishing 2nd and the boys winning the trophy on goal difference! Thanks to Effie in S3 for umpiring 🏑

Well done to everyone who braved the weather to take part in the Regional Dr Turners hockey competition. The boys finished 2nd, with the girls going undefeated and bringing home the trophy for the second year in a row! 🏆 Well done 👏🏼@WallaceHallSch

Both junior and senior netball teams were in action this week as they travelled to St Joseph’s college for the first league matches of the year. The home side came out on top on this occasion, well done to all pupils involved 🏐 @WallaceHallSch

The U16 football team kicked off their season last week. They bounced back from an unfortunate first game defeat against Douglas Ewart to head to Annan on Tuesday where they won by an impressive 6-3 scoreline! The season continues after the October holidays with another 5 games.

The S4-6 netball team played in the schools competition at King George V on Monday. In the morning they won 1, drew 2 and lost 1. In the afternoon they were undefeated in all the games. The girls went on to win the Plate and represented the school well 🏆 🏐 @WallaceHallSch
