Students created parade balloons containing Native American facts and used Beebots to code the parade route for their Native American Parade! @dreitzbmes @linz_kurtz @chrissyrwagner @engageYCSD @BMESEagles@LBDonatelli@Khigh711
@dreitzbmes will definitely be missed at @BMESEagles , especially by his best friend Buddy. Best wishes on your new adventure, you will be great! @YCSD @chrissyrwagner @linz_kurtz@sherrycarducci @ShandorVictor
A3: There are definitely more off task behaviors if students are not interested in the lessons. I get to know my students and keep up on the latest trends. If I break out in a Fortnite dance or can explain evolving in Pokemon and relate it to a lesson...they are in! #ycsdchat
A5: My most engaging lesson this year was today! @Khigh711 created an ozobot lesson to help learn the oceans and continents. My Ss absolutely loved it! #ycsdchat#engageYCSD
A4: Agree with everything here. I also get a lot of ideas from my team! We have been planning some great things for 2nd this year to engage Ss in content and math. Canโt wait to use the ๐bots for Native Americans!! #ycsdchat
A4: We have had partner Ts to observe and discuss lessons, pineapple PD, PLC teams, roundtable presentations, staff sharing at faculty meetings. #BMESEagles @dreitzbmes #ycsdchat
@linz_kurtz Agree! I once wore a cowgirl hat and lassoed the pattern โcoreโ with a real rope. Yehaw. Ask Patty Burns, she thought I was crazy yโall!
A2: This year I have made a concerted effort to include partner work and some kind of technology aspect to my lessons. The students LOVE working together and get so much more out of it. Ty @Khigh711 and @LBDonatelli for all of the cool ideas this week! #ycsdchat
A1: I find that a lot of my higher level readers have trouble with fluency. Their word solving skills are awesome but they take their time as they do it. This week we used spooky pointers, roll and reads, and fashion glasses to help build reading fluency.#ycsdchat
