EIP-4907, although in the review stage, defines a standard for ERC-721 compliant smart contracts (NFTs) to support temporary ownership transfers of any digital asset. If finalized, DApps will begin to adopt the standard and natively support transient NFT ownership. 🧵 (2/2)
