We want to be a church that reaches the people of the Fraser Valley with the Good News of Jesus and helps them to live the abundant life that He gives.
When someone we love dies, it can feel like the end of the story. But Paul reminds us that because Jesus died and rose again, death doesn’t get the final word. Our loved ones in Christ — and we ourselves — will rise to live with Him forever.
Jesus came to suffer, die and rise again to give us a new life with him, a new life of freedom that is filled with hope. And nothing can take Jesus, his love & the life we have with him away from us.
Traumatic events are always challenging, but the devastation they cause can be worse with a half-hearted faith. The resiliency we need is available to us through Jesus.
We humans desire glory, but Jesus shows us that suffering always precedes glory. And the glory that Jesus suffered for was to see you forgiven, healed, and living life with him forever.
We may not be aware of it, but each of us has something or someone that rules over the center of our being, governs all that we do, and determines our destiny. Who or what is the king or queen of your heart?
When we struggle with shame, we often tend to limit the depth & power of God's grace to remove that shame. But Jesus shows us, through his interaction with Zacchaeus, that he has come to take all our shame away. #Jesus#grace#love#healing#shame
Whatever shame we carry is no barrier to Jesus. He came to take our shame away so that we can live in freedom. Let's worship together this Sunday at 9:30 am PT (https://t.co/XpGYkp4OFN) and 11:30 am PT (https://t.co/EGRN5ZoUSV)! #Jesus#freedom#shame
God is not only saving us from some things, he is also saving us for some things, including a community where we are surrounded by people who love us with his love. #Father#love#church

Prayer is all about relationship and when our prayers are focused on the relationship with God we have through Jesus, it transforms how we see God and how we see ourselves. #prayer#Jesus#God#relationship
How do we know that we are fully forgiven? How do we know that God truly loves us? How can we live with the assurance that God is with us? We look to the cross of Jesus Christ.
Jesus not only took away all of our sin, guilt & shame, he also gave us God’s righteousness, goodness, wholeness & purity. In Jesus, you are forgiven & free.
Our interpretative frame is the lens we use to understand our experiences, thoughts and emotions. When Jesus’ resurrection is our interpretative frame, we radiate His hope, His forgiveness, and His peace into the lives of those around us.
Why do some people thrive in their life with God and others struggle to receive that great gift that God wants to give to us? To find out more, let's worship together this Sunday at 9:30 am (https://t.co/XpGYkp4gQf) or 11:30 am (https://t.co/EGRN5Zon3n).
Having good character can help us endure difficult times. But how do we develop good character? Let's dig into God's Word together in worship tomorrow (Sunday) at 9:30 am (https://t.co/XpGYkp4OFN) or 11:30 am (https://t.co/EGRN5ZoUSV) to find out more.
In Revelation, Jesus tells us that there will be times when we will suffer, but he is already victorious, he is ruling over all of creation, & he will make us & all things right in the end. #revelation#Jesus#confidentfaith
Jesus has brought us into fellowship with the divine community of God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. And God gives us everything we need to love our fellow Christians. #love#fathersonholyspirit#Jesus#wglc#sllc
