@marshallpruett@RACERHQ Will Power spoke about the series never being better in his 21 years. In large part this has to be due to the drivers. Every one seems to understand their day job is pretty damn cool and appreciate being able to do it.
@jeff_gluck Enjoy @jeff_gluck - it is really impressive on the FS1 broadcast right now. @IndyCar should be the premier motorsport in the US, in part, because of these new venues. The race weekends will not also go perfect (e.g., last weekend) but that is what keeps it interesting.
@marshallpruett@RACERHQ@marshallpruett This DC Indycar race is something else. The series really should be the premier motorsport in the U.S. Indycar continues to impress by going to new venues. It is not always perfect but that is what keeps it interesting. Thanks @IndyCar
@Megafrayder2 Note the body roll while cornering, the right combination of HP/RPM/gearing to carry the front end down the straight, and the weight transfer forward into the corner helping to set the front end.
@RacingRT1 Hot August Nights - toughest ticket to get in the 1990s. The 5 and and 3 already had a history with this race circa 1995. In 1999 the 3 coming back from some lean years and jokingly be referred to as the "man in BACK". No social media and less exposure = legends being made.
@marshallpruett@MarcusArmstrng@MarcusArmstrng set the example of a professional racer: didn't panic; didn't just "go for it" and crash one or both cars; equaled the skill level of FRO; takes these kind of professional racers to have a side by side white flag lap. Hopefully MA will have a long career in Indycr
.@MarcusArmstrng was in tears after fighting for the #Indy500 win and finishing fifth in a last-lap shootout.
I love seeing how much Indy means to him.
@marshallpruett Thanks @marshallpruett for re-posting this. I think it was Toronto where the victory donut was perfected as AZ only had about 2.5 indycar lengths between the narrow inside/outside wall on the front stretch to execute the perfect donut which he did...
@Amer1can_Barbie Yes. But no issue with temp. short term, and well-managed gov. benefits to help people get back on their feet. We never had lobster or steak during the 5 yrs from 87 to 92 but no problem with this. We have an all vol. force that could choose diff. careers - so let them enjoy!
@KWallaceShow@Kenny_Wallace@kenny_wallace at the 28,29' mark re supers and g-forces, the funny part about a lack of helmet strap one night at Star was Bentley held his head up with his right elbow/hand propped up on the right roll bar and drove left-handed only. Looked like he was bored with it all...
@Kenny_Wallace@NASCAR_Trucks@NASCAR Enjoyed @TonyStewart getting a little technical with trying to find the balance, the adjustments made, and how that influenced the line he was driving...
