I'm a longtime supporter of @Bungie and @DestinyTheGame player. Buying up my favorite studio and shutting support for ny favorite game has turned me away from supporting @Sony, @PlayStation, and PS5. Destiny fans want more Destiny, not Marathon.

I watched this film for the first time last night, and I was completely blown away by the beauty of this now 30+ year-old film that at many times had me asking myself, WTF am I watching? Great film!

Doctors at a hospital in Texas informed George Pickering that his son was in a state of brain death. They explained that his son showed "no brain activity" and the decision had been made to remove life support.
Pickering, however, was unconvinced by their assessment and resorted to extreme measures by drawing a firearm. He demanded that the doctors continue their efforts to save his son's life, threatening to use the gun if they refused.
This situation escalated into a tense standoff lasting three hours, during which Pickering faced off against the police while the medical team performed additional tests on his son.
The hospital was secured under lockdown as police negotiators tried to reason with Pickering, who remained adamant. In a pivotal moment, Pickering's son, previously declared braindead, responded to his father's request to squeeze his hand, indicating cognitive presence. Following this revelation, Pickering peacefully surrendered to the authorities.
George Pickering II subsequently served a prison sentence of 11 months. Remarkably, his son experienced a complete recovery.
A 77-year-old man shot dead two environmental protesters on Wednesday in an apparent outburst of rage over a roadblock in Panama.
The gunman was named in local media as Kenneth Franklin Darlington Salas. If he is convicted, Mr Salas could be sentenced to house arrest rather than being sent to jail because of his age.
The protesters, who were opposed to a controversial mining contract, had blocked the Pan-American Highway in Chame, 51 miles from the capital Panama City.
Footage posted on social media showed the motorist walking from his car, demanding the protesters get out of the road.
Initially, Mr Salas removed tyres which were obstructing the road. The protesters, according to witnesses, shouted at the man: “Are you going to kill someone?”
The gunman replied: “You want to be the first?”
He opened fire, first shooting a protester holding a flag and then a second man who went to confront him, before walking off and removing tree trunks that had been blocking the road. He was then arrested.
Local media identified the victims as Abdiel Diaz, a teacher and union activist, and Ivan Mendoza.
The deaths are the first fatalities in protests that broke out on October 20 against a contract that allows Canada-based First Quantum Minerals to operate Central America’s biggest open pit copper mine for at least another 20 years.
So...I just started Fear The Walking Dead Season 8. The writing on this show has always been bad, but far worse now that Madison and Morgan are now baby snatchers. Wtf!? I hate the two main characters now. #AMC#FTWD
@PaulTassi@Forbes So, does the fact that we still have the light with the Traveler dead retcon how we lost the light in vanilla Destiny 2 when the Traveler was captured?
