Celebrating Pi day! The students used yarn to measure the circumference and diameter of their plate. They had to divide the circumference by the diameter and hopefully they were close to 3.14159….They all did great and were very creative at decorating their plates! @Walton_pjhs

Some of my students were recognized by our School Resource Officer, Deputy Jones, for receiving a 95% or higher on their math test! He brought them pizza and we had a pizza party in my classroom! Congrats to you six, I am proud of you! @MrsW_PJHS@HarperPJH#PJH#WaltonMath
Began our new unit on ratios, rates, and proportions. We reviewed and learned about ratios yesterday and did a Christmas scavenger hunt today making ratios with Christmas objects! The kids had so much fun, and they realized they need to read carefully! 🎄✖️@MrsW_PJHS@HarperPJH
Friday I took time to teach of the tragic events of 9-11.None of them born, their parents-some were their current age when this happened. They were respectful&curious.I vouch to teach about it each year. Its the least I can do to honor our heroes.@MrsW_PJHS@HarperPJH
