Ahsante sana @rigathi and Mama Dorcas for inviting the @LindaMwananchi_ team to your Wamunyoro residence today. We believe this is a first of many engagements that will foster unity within the opposition as we gear up to the General Elections. Mbele kuzuri.
Ahead of today's tributes, here is a reminder that Baba was the biggest champion of democracy and he believed in the ideology of "I may not like what you are saying, but I will protect your right to say it" and he did just that for H.E Edwin Watenya Sifuna who always boldly spoke truth to power even when Baba was alive.
Continue resting Jakom.

And to all of you Sifunas, who fight with us.
Who tagged and pushed the @ORPPKenya for these 2 days, who called and left messages. Nyinyi ni wangu sana!
For everyone who prays for us, who sends us messages of encouragement and who give us hope and fight for us when we are under attack! Nyinyi ni wa nguvu sana.
We have proven yet again that The People-SHALL Mandatory exercise their democratic rights!!
Siri ni Numbers and you showed up all the way!
Sisi Ndio Sifuna!
Have you ever been involved in corruption? — No.
Do you have any case with EACC? — No.
Have you ever been involved in a scandal? — No.
Do you have any murder case in court? — No.
Have you ever stolen an election? — No.
Then who are you?
— I am Edwin Sifuna.
I’m going to say this yet again, because as exhausting as it is to keep defending something that should never have needed defending in the first place, we can't wish it away with silence.
Thing 1: No Luo woman is begging to be picked by your tribal, misogynistic selves.

This guy walks like Barack Obama speaks like Tom Mboya , moves like Raila Odinga and reasons like JF Kennedy. What a generational president we gonna have in 2027.
MY POLITICS HAS A RED LINE:
Today at the ODM Party Delegates Conference in Nyatike, attended by Party Chairperson Governor Gladys Wanga and other top party officials, I made my position very clear: I support President Ruto’s re-election.
But equally clear in this: I will never be part of any group planning, executing, maiming, killing or destroying the property of a fellow from this region simply because of political differences.
Look at the Kikuyu and Luhya nations. Their leaders occupy different political camps, yet political rivalry has not become a licence to organise goons against fellow leaders.
Even President Ruto has intelligence. He knows such dirty politics only damages us and serves no genuine political purpose.
So don't call me to meetings where the plan is to injure Luos in the name of protecting political positions. I will not be part of it.
We can disagree. We can compete. But let us never turn politics into a licence for coercive violence.
Enkamano. 🙏
Sober and genuine ODM-Linda Ruto Leader-Suna West MP-Peter Masara telling Wanga,Ochilo Ayako and Peter Kaluma off for disrupting LINDA MWANANCHI MOVEMENT rallies in LUO NYANZA.
He has no apologies to make.
GOD bless you-Suna West MP-Peter Masara.
Again, the brutality is the point. Believe your lying eyes. You can't afford what you used to, and you're pointed to a road being built and told the economy is working. You're abducted, or beaten, and told "si sorry bas, we have a good constitution". Goons roam the streets and you're told security starts with you. This is an argument between Kenya's past and its future.
Allow me to repost this after Homabay Yesterday
"since raila died. Luos leaders that gave 20bob in burials are now giving out millions. Even those that missed fundraisers for lack of money are now lying in choppers"
We cannot continue to use marginalization as an excuse for underdevelopment. For too long, some of our leaders in Luo Nyanza have failed to turn public office into meaningful opportunities for their people, with nepotism and political patronage often taking precedence over service delivery.
Leadership at every level, from MCAs to county governments must be measured by what is built, improved, and delivered, not by speeches and promises. Every year should bring more than classrooms; our communities need roads, healthcare, water, jobs, markets, and opportunities for young people.
Development must be seen, not reported. Leadership must be measured by results, not rhetoric.
