Of course we have a moral duty to create an immigration system which is modern, safe and secure to protect our citizens.
Yes that's true with current system, children remains stateless until they turn 21 so that they can register for citizenship. It's unfortunate & unfair to them

With the increase in diversity in Uganda especially as regards not only the Asian population, halfcastes, somali, Eritrean, South Sudan and now Afghan refugees, I think it's time Uganda took a long and good look at its immigration laws regarding nationality and citizenship.
