On-chain wanderer. Into the innovative stack and the real world. Curious about identity, incentives and what holds up. Wealth? Health. Music? Make it metal.
@ToddKellgren I'm not entirely buying this whole 5-year narrative but who knows, stranger things have happened! Hard to see on-chain completely replacing the legacy stuff tho. Plus, some buddies of mine are alr currently trading with a Grok bot + Solana combo, so there'll definitely be options
Some are suggesting that, in five years, agents could trade everything (and humans wouldn’t do this anymore!): regular on-chain assets, tokenized stocks, securities…
Would you give an agent full control of a MetaMask-style EOA wallet? I would not, and will not
Early? Perhaps. Worth thinking about
Let's do it! Better sonar, an ROV and a few scientists. Could be weird geology, could be a forgotten piece of something much older. Either way, a reminder that some of the biggest mysteries on Earth are still hiding beneath the surface
Btw, cosmology is something else entirely. A whole different kind of rabbit hole. The deeper you look into the order of the cosmos, the more you start wondering what came before it. A conversation for another time...
K, and deeper:
What is new is that ESMA has now proposed giving authorities explicitly stronger enforcement powers in the next revision of MiCA incl:
- The power to require service providers to freeze crypto-assets where there are reasonable grounds to suspect market abuse or terrorist financing
- A clear legal basis for national regulators to remove, block or shut down fraudulent or unauthorised crypto websites
- Stronger measures against non-EU firms that target EU customers without a MiCA licence
- Specific rules for services involving non-compliant stablecoins as well as for crypto advertising and influencer marketing

DEBUT TRACK 🚨

💿
The first release ever published to @lukso_io mainnet via the upturn API: upload, checks and release, all done by software.
Here's what actually happened, and why it matters 🧵
We had the Commodore 64C. Man that was epic! I'm so tempted to pick up the new edition now but don't even have time to play the games currently sitting on the back burner. So cannot justify the buy to myself yet... thinking of all the cool stuff could do with the newer ones incl some sweet on-chain mixtures and experiments too ofc 🤪
I don’t usually weigh in on this but I’ve been thinking about it lately
Lukso isn’t trying to be just another social graph, its foundation is much broader and non-siloed. Look at Farcaster and Lens right now. They aren't dead but they’re defs in a bit of a lull and trying to find their footing. Ooh and Lens shifted into a smart account infrastructure with its V3 mainnet, smart move if u ask me!
A Universal Profile is different. It’s a programmable account holding your identity, assets, metadata, permissions and automation in one spot. YOU build social on top of it, not the other way around
No need to pick sides, though. Assuming Lens and Farcaster aren’t de facto sunsetted there could be real cross-ecosystem synergy here. Something like Hup dot social could tap into their social layers while using Lukso as the identity and permission layer?
More cross-pollination, less siloing. More social power
For a new user who creates a Universal Profile with a card subscription how will transactions on Base, Ethereum, RH Chain and the plethora of other EVM chains be handled in practice?
Will there be a Lukso-operated multichain relayer that sponsors gas using each destination chain’s native token or is that responsibility left SOLELY to individual apps/third-party relayers? Also, who operates and funds that infrastructure?
