@J_unk I did look it up, in 2025 3,623 people were stranded on Japanese mountains, of which 246 were foreign visitors. So that is visitors from the entire world. So Europeans specifically are less than that. Hardly seems fair to judge a continent of 744 million on.
@hiromaya_art The climate in Germany is also closer to Hokaido than to Honshu. This winter was unusually warm and dry, still -19 °C were recorded. Meanwhile Tokyo rarely sees snowfall, right? If Sapporo suddenly reached temps over 40°C it would also be a problem, I think
@hiromaya_art Germany used to be completly covered in primeal forests, those were cut down. Wetlands, Peat Bogs, and Floodplains where reduced by 95%. Strict flood controls are in place since over 1000 years. Dieseases like malaria disappeared.
@Nakamuuumra@hiromaya_art I might be wrong, but aren't ~95% of people getting lost on mount Fuji domestic residents? I don't think the NPA publishes data on nationality, but it would suprise me if more than a handful are European. And it's not like people don't get lost in the Alps.
They're German
Robert is the Bavarian, fat and drunk and mindless, but well meaning
Stannis is the Prussian, cold and austere but disciplined, and utterly without mercy
Renly is the Austrian, homosexual and greedy and rising above his station through shrewd marriages
