While working in the Volcan, Panama library we also got to eat some of the local food (which was absolutely amazing). They even invited us into the kitchen and showed us how some things where made.

Panama is such a beautiful and diverse country. I am so fortunate to be able to travel here with One Library at a Time and meet so many amazing people in the communities I have visited.

This is a really cool piece I made for myself. It is the paper I make for my other works with a hand inked world map and watercolor. I paint in all of the places I have traveled. This is pretty huge... I think its around 50x80 inches.

I am loving how this pillow came out! I had fabric made using a photo I took of the Germany castle, Neuschwanstein. The pieces are stitched together in a classic quilt pattern.

Love Love Love!! Doesn't my little nephew look perfect in his pair of Lederhosen?? I got these in Rothenburg ob der Tauber when he was still very little. It was to be his first Christmas present. Now he is a little over 2 and it still fits :)
