Muita gente tem me perguntado se os Estados Unidos vão fazer algo muito grave contra o Brasil…

Sim, o Trump faz barulho. E claro, um presidente americano tem poder. Mas não é um poder absoluto.

Essa investigação envolvendo o PIX, por exemplo, pode levar de 1 a 3 anos para chegar a alguma conclusão. E, na maioria das vezes, não dá em nada. O Brasil já foi investigado antes, e continuamos aqui.

As tarifas? Podem prejudicar setores do nosso comércio? Sim.

Mas nada que vá quebrar o país. Hoje, dependemos muito mais da China. Os EUA representam só 10% das nossas exportações.

Mesmo se tudo der errado, da pior forma possível, o impacto estimado seria de apenas 0,05% no nosso PIB.

Pode tentar. Mas neste momento, a própria base dele está rachada por causa de um caso chamado Epstein. E ele ainda tem um problema inflacionário sério batendo à porta.

O Brasil está longe de ser prioridade para ele. Trump tem outros incêndios mais urgentes pra apagar.

Além disso, ano que vem tem eleição de meio de mandato nos EUA. E tudo indica que ele vai perder o controle do Congresso. Isso é comum por lá.

Perdendo o Congresso, ele vira um pato manco, ou seja, suas ações passam a ser travadas pelo legislativo.

Portanto, mesmo que o pior cenário se concretize, o Brasil vai enfrentar apenas problemas pontuais e localizados. Nossa economia é bastante fechada, o que nos protege e absorve boa parte dos impactos externos.

Descanse. Observe. E evite aflições desnecessárias.

Widespread protests erupted in India following the brutal rape of a young doctor at the state-run RG Kar Medical College. The epidemic of rape has become a horrific norm across the country, and despite the 2012 legislation aimed at addressing this issue, little progress has been made both legally and societal.

Dr. Moumita Debanath, a 31-year-old doctor, was brutally raped and murdered while taking a nap in the hospital's seminar hall after a long shift. She was found with severe injuries, including shattered glass in her eyes, a fractured skull, and broken pelvis, ribs, and legs. Her parents filed a petition in the Calcutta High Court, alleging that 150 mg of semen was found in her body.

Initial responses to the crime were marred by delays, miscommunications, and allegations of a cover-up and evidence tampering as hospital officials bumbled the response and the hospital was targeted by vandals. Widespread protests disrupted healthcare services across the country demanding justice. Social media posts, many of which have long gone viral, have claimed the police had initially informed the family that she had committed suicide or that 150 ml of semen was found inside her. The police have officially denied both claims and stated that an investigation had been opened, with at least one person, Sanjay Roy, was arrested and the case was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) who claim to have evidence that he acted alone despite allegations that it was a gang rape.

Sanjay Roy, a civic volunteer and the main accused in the case, was reportedly a habitual offender with a history of violence against women. His psychological profile suggests he has perverse tendencies and a severe addiction to pornography. There are reports that searches on porn sites have also increased using the victims name, as depraved men try to find video of the attack. He was also linked to a hospital bribery racket and was known to be associated with local police, using that as social leverage. The CBI confronted him with evidence, including CCTV footage showing his presence at the scene and a Bluetooth headset found at the crime site. Despite his earlier confession to the police, Roy now claims he was framed and insists he had no knowledge of the crime.

Roy was submitted to polygraph test following his claim of innocence. During the test, Roy reportedly stated that the victim was already dead when he arrived at the seminar hall. However, the test flagged several of his responses as false and unconvincing, with Roy appearing anxious and inconsistent in his answers. Polygraph tests are often not accepted in courtrooms worldwide and primarily used as interrogation tools rather than accurate scientific devices. Roy's mother has defended him, alleging he was framed and forced to confess under police pressure, and Dr. Moumita Debanath's father suspects that more than one person was involved. Many on social media believe that Sanjay Roy may be a "scapegoat" in an alleged cover-up, which has become a popular theory and has motivated further calls for a complete investigation and protests led by the medical community.
