Today, KD Mahsuri deployed to the South China Sea to conduct a Search and Rescue (SAR) operation on a lost Malaysian fisherman.

Earlier today, TLDM was deployed on a humanitarian assistance exercise on SULU. Unfortunately, the platoon deployed to East SULU did not return home safely due to an ambush by armed insurgent fighters.

May they rest in peace.
