During the burial of Odinga’s aide in Siaya, to a crowd that at times looked disinterested, Ruto went to great lengths trying to romanticize his relationship with the ODM Leader.

Ruto, like most of the speakers before him, had difficulty connecting with the masses.

Those attending the burial of George, just like the rest of Kenyans, must have been wondering what economy Ruto was describing.

Because to them, like the rest of Kenyans, all they are experiencing is the economic pain of Ruto’s incompetence.

The frustrated Ruto then concluded his speech by pretending that the Ruto Must Go chants don’t bother him, though you could tell from his demeanor that the chants have gotten beneath his skin, and warning Sifuna of consequence if he continues to criticize him.

There were however notable speeches that elicited applause from the people. This included the speeches by Sifuna, Orengo, and Wajackoyah.

These speeches were pro people and critical of Ruto’s government.

The majority of Luo nation still believes in the ideals of a government for the people, of the people, and by the people.

Ruto’s bet that the Luo people will support him even if he continues messing the economy, abducting and killing those speaking against his incompetence, will not materialize.

It is clear, even in Luo Nyanza, that Ruto is a One Term President. It could be half a term given the way things are going.

Today, we buried David Chege who was shot outside Parliament. He was the first person to be murdered by a sniper's bullet to the head on the 25th June, 2024. He was martyred for our country, protesting for a better Kenya. His family requested @husskhalid and I to help carry his casket, and to fight for #JusticeforDavidChege.

As the burials continue, ask @Honeyfarsafi for burial details. Tomorrow, there are three burials. Kevin Odhiambo Maina is being buried at 11:30 am at Langata Cemetery, Wycliffe Kanyi will be buried in Kikuyu, Ndarakwa, and Ernest Kanyi Waititu in Murang'a, Gitugi area.

The body of Kevin is at City Mortuary, Wycliffe Kanyi's body is at Thogoto mission Hospital, and Ernest is lying at Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary. Even showing up at the mortuary is a sign of solidarity.

Unfortunately, l have no strength to attend another funeral. The grief and pain l have seen in the mortuary, and the few funerals I've attended have broken me in so many, many ways. I can’t even imagine what the families are going through. Young lives stolen in their prime.

The knife in the heart was today’s announcement that some old men have met and decided they want dialogue, without mentioning justice for the victims, and compensation. We must stand with the families, fight for them to get justice, and ensure their sacrifice wasn’t in vain.

Those men who posed for a group photo at KICC today, are the enemies of Gen Zs and those we have lost.

Don’t let the politicians profit, or dance on their graves.

Why is life so cheap in this country? Unless we demand justice for the kids who were killed, there is nothing we are doing as Senators. We are just going to the same usual thing of lulling the country to sleep.

President Ruto told us that criminals were on the streets, he has not produced a single criminal.
We cannot be told lies everyday.

If we have to do anything, we have to demand accountability for that blood, we must demand that President Ruto produces the criminals he claimed invaded Parliament if they were not citizens. President Ruto claimed on national TV that there were criminals, can he produce a single criminal who was involved in this business. He has better intelligence than we do.

The time when people said words and got away with it are behind us.

Can he point out among those dead people, can he Isolate one person who was a criminal that his security forces were

This is not how to run a country. You can't brand citizens criminals and kill them and say we are going to do it at all costs.
