Really great to see many of our Wansbeck young people getting awards at the @NorthlandScouts County Top Awards ceremony today. 🎉
Well done to them all. 👏
Wansbeck Scouts pause to honour the courage and sacrifice of all those who gave their lives in service to our country. We remember the fallen, the veterans, and those still serving — with gratitude, respect, and reflection.
We will remember them.
We’re proud to honour those who serve, and have served around the world, and who continue to support our communities. We will remember them. #Remembrance@PoppyLegion
It was great to see so many of our young people from across the District receiving their Chief Scout's awards, at @NorthlandScouts Awards Day earlier.
Well done to them all 👏
Our AGM will be held at 7pm, Friday 04/10/24, at 1st Hirst Scout HQ, St Georges Hall, Oakville, Ashington, NE63 9SZ.
We're looking for volunteers to join our trustee board, particularly those aged 18 - 25, or with an interest in becoming treasurer, but everyone's welcome too!
Congratulations to Dena Hedley from 3rd @NewbigginScouts on receiving the ‘freedom of the town’ from @NewbigginTC Town Council for 54 years of service to Scouts!
Yesterday, 50 Explorer Scouts were invited to the #Coronation at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey. They were some of the first people to see the newly crowned King. We’re sure it’s a moment they’ll always remember!
It was delightful to host a post-Coronation lunch at @LambethPalace today with teenagers and young adults who are profoundly engaged in serving their communities, leading the way in their creativity, commitment and care.

Proud to say that one of the 400 young people in St Margaret's Church, that the Archbishop of Canterbury mentioned earlier in the #Coronation, is an Explorer Scout from our @WansbeckDESU, chosen to represent Scouting in the whole North East and @NorthlandScouts! @scouts
We are delighted to have some of our amazing members from Northumberland Scouts being great representatives for this very iconic moment for the #Coronation
Today we’re celebrating the #Coronation of HM King Charles III. It’s an opportunity for us all to reflect on service to others, which is a key part of our Promise and values.
Proud to honour and remember those who serve to defend our freedoms and support our communities this Remembrance Sunday. United in #Remembrance Lest we forget. https://t.co/aSYExjIZ8q
