Entering my third year with this.
Started coding after my 3rd sem, from HTML.
Made huge progress in this time frame on both Dev and DSA sides.
Built 4 good production grade apps from scratch with real users.
Pitching one to the CS department of my college.
Day #227.
Wrapped up the DP grind and mastery plan, let's see how the upcoming contests treat it.
Swapping gears to Graphs today, starting fresh with a full review of the basics. Also wired up Sentry and PostHog to my portfolio website.
Monitoring and moving forward. ππ
Day #226.
Solved the DP on Longest Increasing Subsequence (LIS) pattern completely today. Spent most of the time diving deep into Striver's videos and implementing the solutions step by step.
A light, single-focus day, but a massive pattern is now locked in. ππ»
@Spidey_707 I believe that if you already have completed most of DSA then starting LC, then its ok to solve around 200. But if you are just starting out, you have to focus on intution building and that happens by solving a good variety of problems, so you need around 600-800 for it atmost
Day #225.
Knocked out DP on stocks and squares patterns.
Felt great to beat the procrastination today and focus on Dreamer. Got the local setup complete and successfully exposed it to the outer world right from my PC.
Now diving into the framework detection part. ππ₯
Day #224.
Completed V1 of the portfolio website! It's out there, and I'll keep polishing it on the go.
Continued the grind on DP, practicing problems and officially wrapping up the DP on subsequences pattern.
A solid mix of building and problem-solving today. ππ
@MaheshCodesX Google uses a proprietary internal text editor for coding rounds, not google docs. But google docs is very similar to that for candidates to practice
@Spidey_707 Dumb people like you and me grind 7-8 hrs /day on LC, and still stay avg
Meanwhile "Smart people" come in contests, solve all the questions in 4 mins
Day #223.
Completed DP on grids and subsequences, now moving onto strings and stocks.
Solved 3 questions in the CF contest and made some minor progress on the portfolio website.
Didn't feel like the most productive day, but forward movement is still movement. ππ»
Day #222.
Solved more DP problems and cleared 2/4 in the LC contest. Shifted to open source with 2 PRs to career-ops, then sent out some internship applications.
Wrapped up the day ideating a new portfolio website design.
Keeping the gears turning. πΌπ
