Forgotten anecdote of exceptional bravery:

In 1632, Mughal emperor Shah Jahan passed an order commanding the destruction of all new Hindu temples. He ordered his Governor to execute this task immediately.

On heating of this, a young Rajput boy hid himself. Seeing his time and laying siege, he kiIIed the governor's cousin and four other chiefs. When he was found and pursued, he kiIIed 2 more with his dagger. He was apprehended and executed. He was hanged to a tree.

This boy showed exceptional bravery and conviction. He knew he was facing the mighty Mughal empire. He knew he had no chance and would be kiIIed. He was a loneranger acting alone against the mightiest empire in the world. But he laid down his life in defence of Hinduism.

Because Hindus have always been remarkably poor at history, we do not even know this boy's name. We would not even have known about this incident but for foreign traveler Peter Mundy's diary.

There will be cringe performances, songs and dance with zero relevance to the subjects at hand. A new generation of YouTube “journalists” will be born with channels like Naya Inqalaab and Bebaak News. Hatchlings will practice elocution for a career in politics that will never happen. A few adventurous ones will try out some new daredevilry for a quick shot of social media clout. Bhagat Singh syndrome will grip Delhi’s campuses for the following couple of weeks. A bunch will end up in jail with UAPA because some reel told them it’s good for fame. Yogendra Yadav will try making it about himself. Kapil Mishra will try making it about Pakistan. Some octogenarian in Jadavpur will publish a paper on how climate change is fueling anarchy. Arfa and Rana will collectively do 16 op-eds in al-Jazeera and WaPo about fascism making life a living hell for India’s cockroaches…sorry, Muslims.

Diss it all you want but the CJP protest is far more than just a revolution.

It’s an entire economic engine. A launchpad for a million careers. You just wait and watch.
