The Durfee Girls' Track broke two relay records for the program Friday night at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center. The group of Thysh Garcia Martinez, Presley Yentz, Shayla Harrison, and Aaliyah Alexandre combined to set the new school records in the 4x50 shuttle relay (25.90)

7/ President Trump commuted sentences of members of far-right extremist groups like the Proud Boys, including Enrique Tarrio, who was convicted of seditious conspiracy and violent acts.

6/ Robert Palmer, pleaded guilty to assaulting an officer by spraying a fire extinguisher at law enforcement, then throwing it at them.

5/ Edwin Rodriguez, pleaded guilty to felony assault of an officer. 

An officer who was sprayed by Rodriguez said her eyes burnt for about a week, and she gets migraines all the time that can last for days or for weeks. She also has nightmares and PTSD from January 6th.

4/ David Dempsey, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of assaulting an officer. 

Dempsey, stomped on police officers’ heads, swung poles at officers, struck an officer in the head with a metal crutch and attacked police with pepper spray and broken pieces of furniture.

3/ Riley Kasper, a felon who assaulted a police officer, bragged on social media:

"there is definitely something satisfying about pepper spraying cops in riot gear and watching them run from you like a b--- even though they have face masks, billy clubs and full f---ing body armor.”

2/ Steven Cappuccio was convicted of six felonies including assaulting a police officer. 

Cappuccio ripped off Metro Police officer Daniel Hodges’ gas mask, and at one point during the assault he said: “How do you like me now, mother f---er?"

Saturday the Durfee Boys Cross Country team competed at the MIAA Div. 1 Cross Country meet of Champions. Will Rumsey, Owen Moniz & Zach Topolewski qualified. It was a thrilling day of running and pushing themselves on one of Mass. most vicious courses, @frps_durfee @FRPSsupt

On the girls side, Shayla Harrison placed 9th overall and first for Durfee. Shayla and Gretta Moniz got personal bests for the season. Durfee Boys will continue their seasons until November 9th and run at the Division I championship. @frps_durfee

Boys & Girls ran at the Big 3 Championship in Wrentham on Wed. Owen Moniz placed 2nd overall & 1st for Durfee. Will Rumsey placed 9th overall and 2nd for Durfee with a course personal best of 19:20. Landon Wood got a personal best for the season.

Boys & Girls Cross Country toughed it out in the rain at the Frank Kelley Inv. Shayla Harrison placed top 40 & ran a personal best in the 3k breaking 14 min. Zach Topolewski & Owen Moniz placed in the top 25 and received medals. Arian Ramic & Will Rumsey placed top 30.
