Iran would be foolish to give up their Ace Card.
Their control of Hormuz and the pressure point on the global economy. The US cannot take by force and neither will they take it by treaty.
The US inflation rate just jumped 4.2%. By September global fuel prices will crush the economy.
Of course they do.
This is what US surrender looks like.
Everything Iran wanted and more.
Of course, Western media won't tell you this but Iran v US was a war The Pentagon never wanted but was dragged into by Israeli control of the US political system. Just read Kent's resignation letter.
@SprinterPress Of course they are.
With the US tied up supplying Ukraine and Israel and fighting a fruitless war in Persia, China sees its chance to expand on the geopolitical chessboard.
@DonnyChiapet@Megatron_ron Explosions will do nothing to dislodge Iranian control of Hormuz the key linchpin in this war.
Neither will explosions affect military capacity which is underground and the US can not mount a ground invasion because it doesn't have the troops or money.

@Defence_Index NATO is already critically weakened after the war in Ukraine. The alliance may not survive Russia's victory there.
Europe is not the critical front it used to be. The US has been stretched thin supplying Ukraine and Israel and fighting Persia.
Can France fight Turkey alone?
@War_Radar2 Of course they have.
Europe is not a key front since the Cold War and the US is stretched thin both in Persia, Ukraine and the South China sea.
Empires have a habit of being very costly to maintain.
Just ask the British.

Explosions may look good on video, but they will do little to change the outcome of the war.
Explosions will not push the Persians out of Hormuz.
Have you seen the explosions at Muwaffaq Salti in which multiple US aircraft (including a hanger of F-35s?)
Those count...
Trump has cancelled attacks on Iran.
Not surprising after Iran took out multiple F-35s at a US airbase in Jordan, possible downed aircraft over Iran and hit zero worthwhile targets above ground in Iran with Tomahawks being shot down. There is no military victory to be had here. Also, with the inflation rate hitting 4.2%, the US is starting to feel the closure of Hormuz.
An informed military source revealed to Fars News Agency new details about Iran's complex intelligence and operational activities that preceded the attacks on several American military bases in the region early Thursday morning.
According to the source, the strikes caused significant damage to expensive American military equipment.
The source reported that Iranian forces closely tracked two US Navy P-8 reconnaissance aircraft from the moment they took off. One aircraft reportedly departed from Diego Garcia Air Base in the central Indian Ocean, and the other took off from a US military base in Western Europe towards the southern part of the Persian Gulf. Based on the intelligence gathered during the operation, Iran allegedly struck the aircraft's locations at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait with high-precision weapons.
Another source stated that Iranian intelligence and ground surveillance systems also tracked the deployment of at least three American F-35 fighter jets in a hangar at Mafraq Al Khadim Air Base in Jordan up until the last moments before the missile launch. According to the source, Iran subsequently struck the exact location of the hangar with long-range solid-fuel missiles.
I spoke too soon.
Trump has already reversed that decision not to attack Iran.
I had a father-in-law who suffered from dementia and I know the signs when I see them. And I see them now with Trump.
Keir Starmer says he will arrest Elon Musk and 336 million Americans for free speech on X.
The Prime Minister of Britain openly threatening to jail the CEO of X and an entire nation’s citizens over online posts.
This is pure authoritarian delusion.
While Starmer’s government coddles predators, locks down cities, and subsidises foreign workers, he declares war on free speech itself.
Britain’s leaders have become tyrants. Elon stands with the people. Free speech will win.
