Not wanting to brag..but this is my daughter today at her Dr. appointment. She doesn't have any friends. She doesn't ever want to leave the house. Every single day is a struggle. She is the SMARTEST and most beautiful soul I know.
And I am proud to be her Mother ❤️

BREAKING: Congresswoman-elect Sarah McBride, the highest-ranking transgender elected official in American history, fights back after MAGA Republicans smear her with hateful attacks.
This is class and strength...
"I'm not here to fight about bathrooms. I'm here to fight for Delawareans and to bring down costs facing families," McBride said in a statement. "Like all members, I will follow the rules as outlined by Speaker Johnson, even if I disagree with them."
Republicans have been coming out of the woodwork to attack McBride, with MAGA Representative Nancy Mace introducing legislation to ban trans women from using bathrooms and locker rooms on federal property that don't correspond with their assigned at birth sex.
It's a transparent attempt to whip up hatred to distract from real issues as Republicans continue lining the pockets of the rich.
"This effort to distract from the real issues facing this country hasn't distracted me over the last several days, as I've remained hard at work preparing to represent the greatest state in the union come January," McBride went on in her statement.
"Serving in the 119th Congress will be the honor of a lifetime - and I continue to look forward to getting to know my future colleagues on both sides of the aisle," stated McBride.
"Each of us were sent here because voters saw something in us that they value," she continued. "I have loved getting to see those qualities in the future colleagues that I've met and I look forward to seeing those qualities in every member come January. I hope all of my colleagues will seek to do the same with me."
