@tradcatboy Other people doing bad things does not excuse your own bad things. On judgement day you cannot point to someone else and say they did it worse so that means you’re good.
Don't listen to random "smart" Uber Trads on X. They are loud and very often incorrect from behind their keyboards. Stay in the church. Obey the Pope. Don't mess around with that which is spiritually dangerous.
@ian_malcom_phd@poperespecter1@MattGaspers This isn’t “the bureaucracy” though. The successor to Saint Peter gave his judgement on the matter, and the SSPX rebelled against it.
@ian_malcom_phd@poperespecter1@MattGaspers I have no more sympathy for the SSPX than a child being spanked by their father for doing something they were told in no uncertain terms not to do. You either believe in the authority of Catholic Church or you do not, and if you do not then you are not Catholic.
@FlaviusTdsius@CatholicOrca@Catholicizm1 If true, then until she preaches again, they’ve followed direction. Once she preaches again I’ll be a lot more on your side.
@ian_malcom_phd@poperespecter1@MattGaspers They broke the ecclesiastical structure. They’ve been excommunicated. They need to repent and submit to the Church founded by Christ instead of clinging to one founded in 1970.
@ian_malcom_phd@poperespecter1@MattGaspers I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them even as thou hast loved me. (John 17:23)
