💕 Blind Date with a Book! 💕 Students may blindly check out wrapped books this week. If you read the entire book and complete an activity,you may bring them both back to the library for a treat. You might just fall in love with a new author, character, genre, or story! 📕🩷
Wishing a Happy 80th Birthday to Dolly Parton 🦋🪩🩷, we have a book for that, too! Dolly teamed up with famous author, James Patterson, to write Run, Rose, Run…a page-turner perfect for our 8th graders that includes crime, romance, and dream chasing in the music industry! 🎤
MLK Jr. once said, “I think I have discovered the highest good. It is love.” In our library, our highest good is loving students and helping to place the right books in their hands, hearts, and lives. Students can find an assortment of books on the life and legacy of MLK Jr.!

A highlight of every month in the library is a reading time with our Doves team! Prior to winter break, Jingle All the Tay was one of our selections, so we invited “Taylor Sniff” to join us! We look forward to reading to learn and reading for fun with our Doves in 2026!
A little late to the social media post, but we had the BEST Book Besties event in the Westport Library before the break! This crew read The Island, connected to characters, predicted outcomes, and discussed this book like literary champs! Looking forward to more in 2026!
