This is bigger than people think where if a game company shuts down it's servers for a game you don't lose your game. Offline mode should've be mandatory and this is a start.

You spend money on the game either to buy it or microtransactions. In this way can keep it.

@StopKilingGames @BuffedPotatoOne @Pirat_Nation Hellgate London is another you can play Offline though you can't use the storage to transfer gear. Fore example Class Specific Gear to a different character if you've got a different class you're just SOL.
