The rate at which young people are dying in Nigeria needs to be studied. Many young Nigerians are under intense physical and psychological stress because of how difficult life has become.
For many youths today, being able to afford at least three square meals a day requires working three times harder than before. Countless people hustle late into the night, and some barely sleep for days because they're constantly trying to increase their income and survive.
All this relentless stress can have serious effects on both physical and mental health, putting many young people at risk of sudden health complications and untimely death.
This is truly heartbreaking. 💔
I am from Australia and we saw reports of this girl wanting to lure Men so she can accuse them of rape
I hope everyone remembers and stay away from this false rape accuser
i’m convinced that creativity is the elixir of life. not ambition. not productivity. but the simple act of making. the devotion to beauty. the refusal to go numb.
Preek just dey make this shima talk anything...
Which one be say I want to tel my mommy and stay here with you so you'll fok me on monday before I leave fo work and when I come back
You know all the finest women from Africa, you know 400 ways to japa, you know where there are jobs in Taiwan but you don’t know your local govt chairman, a Nigerian influencer!! 😤😤
your entire life will change when you understand how neuroplasticity actually works.
your brain isn't fixed. it rebuilds itself every single day based on one simple rule: whatever you REPEAT becomes STRONGER. whatever you ignore slowly fades away. neuroscientists have a saying for it: "neurons that fire together wire together."
which means every repeated thought becomes a highway in your head. think "i can't do this" often enough and your brain paves the road so well that the thought shows up automatically. but the same mechanism works in your favor. repeat a better thought, take a better action, and the old roads grow over while new ones get built. it just takes time and repetition.
like Aristotle said: "We are what we repeatedly do."
that's the loop. your THINKING shapes your ACTIONS, your ACTIONS shape your THINKING, and REPETITION builds your IDENTITY. so choose what you repeat, because your brain is always listening
That used to scare me too. But psychology has opened my eyes to the fact that this is not entirely true. You can truly tell. It is just that most of us are not fully aware how to.
People can only pretend for a while. People can only put on a mask for a while. It eventually falls off. You cannot fake who you are forever. The cracks always show.
You can read people's behaviors, mannerisms, and body language. The way they avoid eye contact when they are lying. The way their tone shifts when they are uncomfortable. The way they deflect when they are hiding something. The way their body betrays what their mouth is saying.
Words can lie. But patterns do not. Behaviors do not. Energy does not. But if you learn to observe, you will see the truth. You will notice the inconsistencies. You will feel the dissonance. You will know when something is off.
People who have travelled a lot tend to judge less. Not because they became nicer, but because they ve seen too many versions of what's "normal." In one country, it's normal to eat with your hands. In another, it's normal to stay quiet at the table. In third, it's normal to hug a stranger. When you've seen 30 different versions of "the right way," you stop believing yours is the only one. Travel doesn't just teach geography. It teaches tolerance
