Most people read the headline.
We look for the contradiction hiding underneath it.
Power. Society. Culture. Everyday life.
From the stories making headlines to the things we rarely think twice about.
We look for the second thought hiding behind the first.
WARP LOGIC.
When we reply late, we were busy.
When someone replies to us late, they’re ignoring us.
Interesting how easily we explain our own behaviour…
and judge everybody else’s. 😅
WARP LOGIC.
Most people see what happened.
We’re interested in the question that comes next:
Does it actually make sense?
People . Society. Culture. Money. Relationships. Everyday life.
No side to defend. No outrage to manufacture.
Just the contradictions hiding in plain sight.
If you enjoy the second thought after the obvious one, you’ll probably enjoy it here.

@Inocentia9k@yabaleftonline I think the interesting part is less about white vs African.
My question is simply: if the traditional marriage already makes them husband and wife, what exactly changes their marital status at the church ceremony?
We want people to check on us.
But sometimes we won’t check on them because…
“Why should I always be the one to text first?”
So two people who miss each other sit quietly waiting for the other person to prove they care.
And somehow, silence wins.
WARP LOGIC.
@ghonetv For years, Okada was illegal on paper but normal on the road.
Now the law is finally catching up with the reality everyone was already living with.
Sometimes regulation begins when prohibition finally admits it wasn’t working.
WARP LOGIC.
Maybe the problem starts when we put everything in the same basket.
Criticism. Insults. Threats. Incitement.
They’re not the same thing.
If someone broke the law, show what was said, show the evidence and apply the law.
But the label shouldn’t decide the case. The evidence should.
WARP LOGIC.
We invented technology to save time.
Then used the time we saved to become too busy for everything.
Maybe the problem was never how much time we had.
It was what we did with it.
WARP LOGIC.
@ghonetv $2 billion a year for job creation sounds big.
But the number that will matter is much simpler:
How many sustainable, decent-paying jobs did each $1 billion actually create?
Money spent is an input. Jobs that last are the result.
Before arguing over the quota, perhaps the first request matters more:
Show the numbers.
How many Ga youth apply? How many qualify? How many benefit?
If the data shows a real gap, then we can debate the reason and the remedy.
A quota shouldn’t be the evidence of a problem. The evidence should tell us whether a quota is needed.
WARP LOGIC.
@ghonetv Maybe the bigger question comes before the flooding.
Why do we wait until a questionable structure becomes a finished investment before enforcing the rules?
The bulldozer is often the last stage of the problem, not the first.

I don’t think anyone is saying demolishing Laboma alone will suddenly solve Accra’s flooding.
But that’s a strange test.
One blocked waterway doesn’t have to cause every flood before clearing it makes sense.
Fix the drainage. Improve the engineering. Stop dumping. Protect the waterways too.
A problem with many causes usually needs more than one solution.
WARP LOGIC.
We often ask which country Ghana should copy.
So when other African countries come to study something Ghana is doing, it’s worth paying attention.
But the real success won’t be how many delegations visit.
It’ll be how well the model still works after everyone goes home.
WARP LOGIC.
😂 Not quite. Being close to a waterway and actually building inside its protected buffer are two different things.
If technical evidence shows Labadi Beach Hotel is also inside the same protected area, then the same rules should apply.
That’s actually the point — the boundary, not the name on the building, should decide.
Fair point about applying the rules equally. But I checked a little further and this issue didn’t start with this demolition.
In 2023, LaDMA was already demolishing structures around the Kpeshie Lagoon and said developers had been warned several times. In July 2024, REGSEC again ordered developers at Laboma to stop building and produce their permits. Then another warning came in 2025.
So at some point we also have to ask: how many warnings does it take before a warning becomes a warning? 😅
The authorities should still apply the law fairly to everyone, of course.
