This kid has some serious swag by the way.
Suspect he’ll be eased in to the #BHAFC first team, but he was causing carnage at AIK.
Unreal dribbling attempts per game.
9 G/A in 10 starts at 18yrs old.
Zadok Yohanna 🔝 💙 🇳🇬 🌟
Would be fascinating to know why players choose #BHAFC over other PL clubs and higher wages. Game time? Player development? Playing in Europe? South coast v frozen north? Stability of coach? Recommendations from other players? Facilities at Lancing? Or a combination?
🚨🎙️ Zadok Yohanna’s agent Andrei Balmos on the Brighton move:
“We had bigger offers, from Premier League clubs and from Saudi Arabia as well… but we had to respect the player's wishes.
He simply wanted to join Brighton.”

Get to know the NEXT UP on Brighton's interest, Zadok Yohanna. Monitored by Dortumind, RB Leipzig and Leverkusen and touted to be the "Nigerian Neymar"... 👀🇳🇬 #BHAFC
@SkySportsPL A title and a UCL qualification in two seasons not good enough. Far more than Sir Alex Ferguson achieved at Old Trafford in 3 years - he'd have been sacked if he were coaching one of the "Big 6" today. Standards are impossibly high and no-one gets the chance to deliver long-term.
@TheAthleticFC I could have sworn Liverpool won the title last year. Unbelievable that "failure" equals a top five finish and Champions League. How can any manager achieve long term progress and stability? Alex Ferguson would have been sacked long before winning titles and trophies these days.
Young England international Harry Howell will be a player to keep an eye on for next season.
His Albion under-21s coach says there is a side to his game people don't see.
But we noticed at it at the PL2 final. #bhafc

@MikeKing14_ ...if Palace win it this week they will be in the Europa League and we will be chasing their tail in terms of trophies. I'd have preferred a European "M23 Derby" where we knocked them out.
Again though, Europe at any level is incredible, and we are not Brentford or Chelsea 😂
@MikeKing14_ UCL was a remote chance but would have been a very lucrative, reputation-enhancing but ultimately fruitless endeavour.
Europa League much less lucrative but a better level and one where we've proved we can do well.
Conference is great and we should absolutely celebrate it, but...
Should we rue the point dropped that cost us the Europa League, or celebrate the goals that got us Conference League on GD? It's done, and we are in Europe again with another money-generating top ten finish. Much to celebrate despite today's loss. #BHAFC
🚨 DEAL DONE: Costinha signs with Brighton (5+1 years) 🤝
- The transfer fee is at €11M
- Olympiacos kept a 20% sell-on clause
- Rio Ave had 30% of the Portuguese player's rights

@BrightonBuzzz I fear a draw together with a Chelsea win at Sunderland denies us a Europa League place, but I'm hoping my pessimism is just keeping me in check...
The ‘little old Brighton’ Fallacy.
“CL is a step too far…”
“CL is too much for us…”
“I’m scared of us getting beaten every week in the CL”
Every conversation to do with CL I see Brighton fans saying things along these lines.
This to me is a logical fallacy.
Let’s put aside the argument whether we get CL or not (odds are we don’t).
A Top 6 Premier League club is going to be FAR stronger financially and squad wise than near enough approx 75% of the CL clubs.
Think it through.
You think we’re not good enough to compete in the CL, yet in recent seasons we’ve beaten all of the Rich8 PL clubs (and nearly always give them a game)?
So we can beat:
Liverpool
Man City
Man Utd
Arsenal
Chelsea
Newcastle
But you think we’re not able to beat the following CL clubs because “it’s a step too far…” ?
Club Brugge
Monaco
Qarabag
Marseille (already beaten them)
Copenhagen
PSV
This doesn’t make sense. Your logic doesn’t hold up.
Ok yes we will likely come undone vs PSG, Bayern (but what glorious games they would be!), but outside the 1% elite, we’ll give everyone a game and be STRONGER than most of the CL population.
It’s a curious fallacy people have adapted, which I think is rooted in “we’re just little old Brighton” humility.
But look at every European competiton right now, the English clubs are supremely dominant.
IF Brighton were to get CL (which again, is unlikely), I’d be shocked if we didn’t make
it through the first stage CL league format and into the knockouts.
Would we get to the final stages and win? Ok that I’d agree with you. That would be a step too far.
But that’s the same problem for most clubs in the CL!
