Things introverts love:
- solitude
- deep conversations
- journaling their thoughts
- exploring their interests
- doing nothing all day
- staring at a starry night
- quiet long walks in nature
- solo traveling
- late night drives
- meaningful self-talk
- silence
You are NOT lazy. You are exhausted from the grief and trauma youโve endured. Also, one very real response to trauma is shutting down - according to polyvagal theory this is called dorsal vagal shut-down. Its when you freeze and maybe even dissociate, have little energy, and feel stuck. Obviously we are accountable for the healing, AND also, please give yourself GRACE. -Dr. Jen
BPD paranoia is no joke. Always wondering if they hate you or are gonna leave u. Always thinking people are talking about you or against you. Always overthinking every interaction u experience looking for flaws that might push ppl away. Itโs not fun being suspicious of the world
Some people are upset with you because you're not suffering the way they thought you would be... please continue to disappoint them. ๐
~The Old Words~
Suicidal thoughts arenโt always I want to die.
Theyโre also..
I feel trapped.
I need a way out.
I am a burden.
Whatโs the point in life?
I need to escape my thoughts.
Nothing will ever get better.
I see no future.
I canโt bare this pain anymore.
Am worthless.

Out of all the lessons I've learned I think betrayal is the worst... especially when it's from someone who is supposed to love you.
It cuts like a knife, acceptance is hard & recovery can be long.

Introverts don't talk, they observe. Your body. Your expressions. Your words. That nervous scratch on the arm. They hear what you say and also what you don't. They may not say a word, but trust me they've got emotion graphs and behavioral spreadsheets running in their heads.
