@TiareFromNC @LeadingReport Shame on you. As a survivor of aggressive prostate cancer and living with that uncertainty every day, I am disgusted and offended by your attitude.
We are indebted to President Biden for his historic accomplishments to strengthen the United States. He is a great man now a victim of the game of the vicious culture of politics. I will support any democratic nominee and reject the tyrant, lies, and hatred of Trump.
BREAKING: Joe Biden formally ends his re-election campaign — making the selfless choice to pass the torch to a new generation of leaders who can defeat Donald Trump once and for all.
In a letter announcing his decision, Biden stated that it's in the "best interest" of the Democratic Party and America for him to stand down.
He thanked Vice President Kamala Harris for being an "extraordinary" partner and promised to speak to the nation later this week about his decision.
This is the bravest kind of leadership and Trump's worst nightmare. Biden will go down as the most accomplished president in modern history.
This is a man who rose to meet the moment, who put America back on track after the disaster of the MAGA years, and who ultimately put the good of the country above his own personal power.
Future generations will be deeply indebted to him.
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank Biden for passing the torch — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. @ACCJH I’m excited to be moderating this panel on the mental health of persons exonerated for crimes they did not commit, often after many years of incarceration.
@UMassChan@UMassDiversity I heard Dr Washington speak on this topic more than a decade ago and the images of the ‘heroes’ of medicine, who conducted surgical experiments on slaves without anesthesia, still send a chill through me.
“A lot of what we teach and disseminate as the history of medicine is not only inaccurate, but carefully curated to malign the humanity and experiences of people of color.” - Author Harriet A. Washington during a @UMassDiversity#BlackHistoryMonth event https://t.co/xh7Odkk16i
