The team deployed early this morning to assist occupants of a domestic house fire. The team is still currently on scene providing support @nottsfire #powerofkindness

Over the weekend I was very lucky to attend the @BritishRedCross CER conference in Manchester. It was great to meet fellow volunteers and staff from across the service. All great to meet staff from @RedCrossCRCC #powerofkindness #CERConference2023

Today team members from the ER Team are at a conference meeting others from across the UK at the first CER conference for 3 years!

Busy Day today, This morning working with @hinckandbos_bc at there wellbeing event and then two fire deployments for @LeicsFireRescue support occupants of properties following fires in there homes.

Whilst we maybe carrying extra water at the moment due to #Heatwave2022 we also have to ensure our vehicles are well hydrated. Tonight the team have completed vehicle checks making sure we are able to support service users when requested by @RedCrossCRCC and @LFRSFireControl

Over the next few days the weather is going to be unbearably hot for some. We wanted to share some advice that we at the @BritishRedCross have produced on keeping safe in a heatwave and how to manage a heatwave first aid incident. #stayingsafe #heatwave
