Tip to Avoid Scams: Scammers are using fake utility text messages (“smishing”) to trick consumers into sharing personal information or making payments. If you receive a text threatening disconnection or asking you to click a link, pause before responding. Always verify account information through our website or through SmartHub — not through a text link. Stay alert and protect your information!
In the co-op world, Annual Meeting is a well-loved tradition at the heart of what it means to be a co-op, but sometimes we take it's significance for granted. The meeting, held each year in July, begins with a day long member appreciation event, offering snacks and buckets with bulbs. In the evening, members can tune in online for a business meeting to hear reports on the cooperative’s finances and programs. Because we're local, Annual Meeting day is a great opportunity to see friends and family as they come through the registration line. For us, it's one of the best days of the year. We love getting to see you and say thank you! To learn more about the Annual Meeting, check out the FAQ section here https://t.co/IyLBgaHfNC. To see for yourself, stop by any Warren RECC office or Edmonson County High School on July 23 from 8 am to 6 pm. See you then!
UPDATE: We are making progress! We now stand at approximately 125 members without power and 16 separate outages. We have all hands on deck and will work until everyone is restored.
We have scattered outages on the western side of the service territory due to the storm that just went through, including an outage affecting 195 members in Ohio County. Crews are working as quickly as possible to restore power.
