As a #CFC fan I don't want my club run by the same people who are so slow to help desperate Ukrainians and who don't know the difference between social distancing and partying. #UKGovernment Leave football to the #FA and #UEFA.

@henrywinter Is it right for the Gov to influence the outcome of the Premier League, the FA Cup or the Champions League by disabling one club when it wasn't the club or the fans that did anything wrong? #CFC

@henrywinter I don't want to be associated with a Putin supporter, or someone who is not prepared to condemn the actions of Russia in Ukraine. However, R.A. always had the best interests of #CFC at heart.
The gov could control how CFC's money is spent without crippling it in the process.

#UEFA Is it OK for a government to be involved in running a club that is participating in the Champions League? #CFC
Is it OK for that government to influence one team's chances of progression in the competition to the advantage of the other teams?

So, While #Chelsea #CFC were run by Russian Oligarch Roman Abramovich sponsors like #Three were happy to stay put. Now that the club is run by the UK Government, these sponsors run for the hills.
Does it show who they trust more?

@FabrizioRomano As a Chelsea fan I can understand the desire to stop Abramovich profiting from the sale of #CFC. But stopping ticket and merchandise sales will hurt fans and possibly staff. Why not put the club into the hands of administrators to run it until it is sold?
