Labour, not a fan of the Tories, especially BJ. NHS biomed scientist. pro Brexit, voted leave to make Supreme Court in London supreme, not immigration control.
@crazyboutcats8 @prttyblue_eyes And this bot/person will be more likely to be hospitalised with covid, so might not be able to go on many holidays in future… if she/it is dead.
@BillyNineLives@BorisJohnson It’s more that Johnson has repeatedly been shown to be a lying sack of ****, and is not just a one off rule breaker. He’s serially dishonest and isn’t fit to be PM. It’s a measure of how far we’ve fallen as a country that you’re even asking the question.
@toadmeister I’d rather be living in the restrictions Wales has now under Starmer than have truth, democracy and trust being shattered every single day of the week. Yet again, @toadmeister can’t see what’s actually most important in society.
@DalmatianDashes @jwsanders2011@UKnoGum@Jgs_x This, this and this. You look at other highly populated island nations’ Covid figures, such as Japan, and realise how badly let down we’ve been. It could have been so different and yet so many people in the UK just don’t care. Or just put money before everything else.
@littlepixie3@cookhamcockapoo@d5_rss@life_is_short_3@GBNEWS The vaccine was NEVER touted as being 100% effective so you’ll always get people like your nephew’s wife, sadly, falling very ill.
Just look at how many patients are in ITU today compared to a year ago. That answers the question about how effective the vaccine is. It’s obvious.
@toadmeister Obesity isn’t an infectious disease whose side effects include mass numbers being simultaneously admitted to ITU. So that’s a ridiculous analogy.
Self evidently, being vaccinated prevents thousands of people needing ITU. Macron just saying what the majority of us are thinking.
@MrLChristmas If he doesn’t resign, and take responsibility for over 130000 dead British citizens, then what would be a resigning matter??
I fail to see why the British people think this is ok. Even if he “tried his best”, his best was demonstrably inadequate. He needs to go.
@MrLChristmas No, he watched other countries suffering mass death, refused to do the one thing that would have prevented widespread infection (an early lockdown), and the result is the worst death toll in Europe.
It’s not with the benefit of hindsight to say this. It was clear at the time!
@RobinBellamy10 Nice try to shut the conversation down on your terms. When I point out a straight truth that the “running out of other people’s money” line is exactly what your beloved Tories have done. £37bn Test and Trace, corruption on a grand scale etc. The country is broken under Johnson.
@TybrynM @RobinBellamy10 Yes, because a true Tory like you can’t accept that the country is now in a mess, with both sky high tax rates and the health service near collapse. At least under Labour you only get the higher taxes. You lot vote to pay more… to get less. Bravo.
@Castledon54@KeithBarrow21@drdavidbull Evidence for this claim?
Majority of diagnoses can be made from the history of symptoms alone.’ Throw in a video camera… and the vast % of cases can be accurately assessed.
Throw in the fact you also don’t expose doctors to any of the 30k+ COVID cases a day… it’s a winner.
@drdavidbull In many cases; patients prefer not to have to take time off work, go to a GP practice and sit in a waiting room for ages. Don’t get the obsession with being seen in person. And anyway, GPs have been seeing loads of people F2F anyway: it’s a lie to suggest they haven’t been.
@drdavidbull Surely you remember at medical school @drdavidbull the old aphorism “90% of the diagnosis is in the history”? This can be perfectly adequately achieved over the phone / video call in many cases. And then anyone who needs to be seen F2F can be, if necessary.
@TotalFirehorse @bellfieldboy60 @mrmarksteel Henman got to 5 Grand Slam semi finals... That’s not a failure. He was the best male tennis player the country had produced in over 60 years and it’s a disgrace that people knock him just for not winning a major tournament. He achieved more than most players in their careers.
@MrLChristmas What’s your point? I’m just saying that you don’t have to personally invite refugees into your home to also be able to support their being relocated in the UK, to escape an evil regime. You seem to think this is a requirement...
@FordyMUFC1LOVE @Jan_S_B_459@TheEnglishRebel Overpopulation, but not with the right skill set to do the work required to run the country, which is why we’re now seeing shortages in supply chains.
