There’s a fine line between trading and gambling and usually it’s pretty hard to define it.
Based on my experience, here’s how you can stop gambling your trades and become a better trader:
A thread 🧵🧵
The problem with most traders is that they would rather gamble instead of making money
They're not even aware, but their main goal is feeling the dopamine of gambling, pressing buttons & trying to feel smart by "predicting" moves
She can flex beside all the private jets in the world, but it won’t change the fact that she sold herself cheap. No ring, no honor, just a glorified baby mama with expensive accessories.
The one thing that will stop you for achieving anything in life is?
Desperation
Anytime you try to achieve anything in life from a desperate perspective, it will run from you.
Whether it's trading, business deals with high status people, women, or literally any goal worth persuing.
It will run away from you if you're in a desperate state.
Be calm, cool and collective at all times. Desperation scares away everything on the face of this earth. It's the universal law encoded in everything.
I get people all the time in my DMs telling me about the desperate situation they're in and how they NEED to learn to make money fast. Right off the bat I can tell you even if I handed them all the ways to make guaranteed money on a platter, they would fuck it up because of being in a desperate state.
If you need money, first you must find stable and solid ground to build on. Humble yourself and get a job. Take the time to learn the markets on your spare time. Master a strategy that doesn't require you to monitor the trades all day to make money. Deposit a small amount the first month, if you manage to survive 1 month without blowing yourself up, deposit some more the next month. Chase stability, forget about the big gains. You're not there yet.
Keep the outside income coming and let the markets gradually build your savings up. The second you get desperate and try to push the markets, it will push back and end you on the spot.
I've seen many men waste decades upon decades trying to get rich quick of the markets and they still struggle. Why is that? It's because they've been trading from a desperate perspective their whole lives. Trading isn't a get rich quick scheme. Don't be fooled by influencers posting payouts or profits day after day, all the while getting back end deals from brokers. Nothing is what it seems. Trading requires patience and mental stability at all times. The trading space is full of corruption, lies and bribes dressed up as success. Unplug from it all and focus on building your trading career on solid ground.
Building on desperation is building on sand. It never lasts.
