I liked the presentation that compared the efficiency of Apple and Samsung. It's crazy that these two tech giants are seen as very similar companies doing the same things. I learned that each has its reach in different departments and markets. #RHUB290

Credibility is essential to a good presentation. The audience at Steve Jobs's speech trust that he knows what he is talking about and. What stood out to me is that Steve took very little time establishing credibility because of his experience and reach in the tech field. #RHUB290

The problem we might be presenting in our project is the funding for our business. We could use sources that give analytical information on the impact business funding has on the success of the brand. I wonder if using either stats or expert opinion is better for this. #RHUB290

Here is an example of a marketing campaign that could be unethical. Vitamin water is promoting their new line of waters but the statements tell the audience their water is a substitute for flu shots. Leave out the flu shot part and you're good. #RHUB290

The best option for our group would be investing in self-hosted services. These offer a lot of freedom to edit a webpage especially since ours won't require much storage. Integrating a WYSIWYG editor poses the biggest challenge but even then this option is still great.👍 #RHUB290

For the business promotion project, I have seen promoting websites that help people make websites and websites that help teams collaborate online. There is already a lot of research done on these topics and a solid skeleton that we could build upon with our own twist. #RHUB290

In the reading WTP, my opinion is that persuasive writing is best when it sounds polite and personal. Like it says in the reading, business language and flowery phases should not be integrated into the text. This sounds like great advice to me. #RHUB290

When reading through the WfB article on basic business letters, I thought back to their other article on the seven traits. When I write emails to people, I will use a greeting and a closing, however I think I should work on expanding my template to be more professional. #RHUB290

In the 3 Bones of Networking, I really enjoyed hearing that humility is one of the most important traits to practice. When I start to make my resume/cover letter, I will definitely be portraying a good character and set of morals, and above everything else, be humble. #RHUB290

After class, I thought about the structure of a cover letter. I have written one before when applying to a job but did not manage to get a reply from the employer. I wonder how I could improve the structure in which I introduce myself as a real person and still be professional.
