Kenya, my motherland, is a great country. We remain pace setters for democratic ideals in the region. Despite the challenges we face, let us all continue to pull together to make Kenya greater. Peace is all we need now.
@gabrieloguda Institutions are bigger than individuals. The VC has done the right thing. Compromise is not weakness. University belongs to Professors and students not managers. Other universities should learn from this. Unitate et Labore (unity in service).
@citizentvkenya Mandatory testing of all students for drugs only hides the rot in education sector. Being an innocent student should not be criminalised. Can they order all Kenyans drinking beer to take mandatory STI test? Indiscipline in schools must be tamed lawfully.
@citizentvkenya This is a myopic thinking. Are boarding secondary schools under primary sector? What of children from pastoralist communities? What of girls who will be exposed to male human hyenas? Boarding school system is not the problem. The problem is leadership.
@NationAfrica It is wrong to shout abolish boarding schools. How come private boarding schoolsvare stable? The Ministry and TSC should reflect on where the lost touch with students. Why punish all parents for a crime of ten students?
@wmnjoya The Ministry of Education is scapegoating on school fires. Having your child in a public swcondary school should be a requirement for CS Education appointment. If your children were in Rusingas and Bandas, we understand why you happily condemn victim parents.
@HaronRajab@2ediga@gabrieloguda Some are responding as suppliers in the affected schools. School fires is a failure of the ministry. Punishing innocent students and parents only radicalise good ones. Being a good student does not pay any more.
@mamangilu The innovation is great. These are items that Kenyans have been importing from Asian countries as if we cannot make them at home. Let us continue to create jobs for local people.
