Wrapped up a great Infrastructure Week in D.C.!
We had productive discussions with our Congressional delegation about the upcoming transportation reauthorization bill and coordinated with MPO peers from across the country.

In Utah, 80% of our ozone comes from background sources — either naturally occurring or transported from other countries. This shift allows EPA to account for the intermountain west’s unique conditions — allowing us to address air quality while advancing transportation projects.
State leaders were thrilled to welcome U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin to the Beehive State!
We shared Utah’s collaborative approach to planning and building transportation projects.
The visit was a great chance to highlight Utah’s success and build support for our priorities.
We also welcomed Administrator Zeldin’s important announcement that would help Utah meet air quality standards.
Exciting news! The new @southjordancity Downtown TRAX station is now open!
We’re happy to support this station through regional planning efforts, helping to increase transportation choices and thoughtful development in the area.
Take a ride and experience it yourself!
