The private health sector in Ethiopia contributed more than 16 million ETB in cash and material support towards the recovery Otona Hospital recently damaged by fire. I joined H.E @MekdesDaba this morning to deliver our contribution and express our solidarity on behalf Ethiopian Healthcare Federation. The Minister of Health, H.E Dr. Mekdes Daba, earlier today visited BEN Meskerem Hospital in Mekele, Tigray. The hospital is one of the 40 private health facilities supported by @USAID Private Sector Immunization Support project being implemented by @ABHPartners. The minster thanked @USAIDEthiopia for the support which increases access for routine immunization and reiterated the readiness of the ministry of health to successfully implement and scale up the project. The minister was also joined by state minsters of health, Mrs. Frehiwot Abebe and Dr. Ayele Teshome, the head of Tigray Regional Health Bureau and others officials of the ministry of health, leaders of the private health sector nationally and in Tigray region.
