The picture on top was taken today in Zimbabwe showing how Zimbabweans in the capital city Harare are struggling to get to work due to transport problems that have dogged the country for two decades.
The picture at the bottom was taken in Zimbabwe in 1977 showing Salisbury United public buses and how frequent they moved.
When Zimbabwe became independent in 1980, the ruling ZANUPF literally destroyed the public bus system that they inherited from the colonial government.
What Zimbabweans experienced after 1980 was a demonstration on how not to run a business.
It was destroyed by massive corruption, grand incompetence, greediness leading to a total collapse of one of the best run public bus system in Africa before independence.
