Muslim community in warri opened a modern mosque 🕌 in Alders town in Warri.
Representatives of the Olu palace were present at the ceremony.
Alders town was got its name from a Yoruba British interpreter and merchant who lived in Pessu Town.
R. A. ALDER was an 'EGBA YORUBA' British interpreter and a Merchant based in WARRI who married an itsekiri woman from Bobi and had a daughter called “Atseyinuku” who became the mother of Madam Ukobolaje (wife of Blackson) for a man called "DAUDU", another YORUBA Merchant from 'ISALE-EKO', LAGOS, also based in WARRI. Both Mr. Alder and Mr. Daudu lived in Pessu Town at the time.
they were both Tenants on the CROWN LAND (lease B5) of 1908 and by reason of their great influence as big Merchants, their names have stuck (as ALDERS Town or DAUDU) to the part of WARRI from Mclver to PESSU Road. And they both returned to their homes where they died.

Gets funnier when you think Lagos is the only place this can happen and Ibadan people show you unprepared shege.
The day they stole my phone in Iwo Road, i searched tirelessly to no avail. Had to buy Fearless to cool my nerves and reset my brain 😭

"How I Found Out I Am Not The Father Of My Four Children"
At this rate I think DNA should either be free or affordable and carried out immediately after birth 🥲
