@A1Layne@BlameBootsy@bhejaa_fryy since you can be dismissed permanently , Batters chose to take on deliveries based on risk and reward..risk being outlier and dismissal and reward being home run. thats why they wont swing at every ball like meatball , game situation also dictates how much risk is acceptable
@A1Layne@BlameBootsy@bhejaa_fryy also elite fast bowlers snap their wrist at release. speed gun will show you same exact speed. same landing point..same surface but more bounce or deviation because of violent wrist snap at release..thats an outlier you wont catch in real time
@A1Layne@BlameBootsy@bhejaa_fryy lol cricket rules are designed around that outlier. so if 6 balls are bowled..one ball is outlier.. you can be dismissed..in cricket you dnt come back and try again like baseball. and its deemed that batter has failed abd bowler has succeeded
@A1Layne@BlameBootsy@bhejaa_fryy you are assuming all surfaces cricket is played on are same. you make no distinction between hard surface or damp surface..or even cracked surface. so Kids master that too predicting bounce on multiple surfaces type with velocity of 137 KPH 3 metres away from your body?
@BlameBootsy@bhejaa_fryy 137 KPH is meatball if it comes at your bat without landing..the moment it lands , a new variable is introduced. you need to judge how much its gonna bounce or deviate. its distance is only 3 metres now..137 KPH velocity wont be meatball with 0.1 seconds of reaction time
@BlameBootsy@bhejaa_fryy let me give you physics lessons. your reaction time starts after it lands. in this case 3 metres from batter. if it bounced more than it did , your time to adjust is 0.1 seconds otherwise if you cant adjust more bounce would make it crash into your head. thats what cricket is
@sudeepdas46@barimanalow@Jamesh17 that leaves even lesser reaction time after it lands anywhere between 3 metre to 7 metre from your stance..and if it behaves bad , time to react is even lesser thats 0.1 second
@JWC7215C@BurdenBurner Ball is nt slow when you reaction time is virtualy 100 Milliseconds because in cricket your reaction time starts when ball lands not when its released. a 90 MPH release when lands lose overall velocity but your reac time is 10th of a second if it behaves bad aftet landing
@barimanalow@sudeepdas46@Jamesh17 speed is relative to your reaction time . ball is released from 22 yards distance and bowler target 4 to 7 m away from your stance. after hitting the deck , your reaction time is virtually 0.15 to 0.2 seconds and object even with lost velocity will be hard to tackle
@russtheterrier@jeetab07@Jamesh17 dude it will change trajectory last moment leaving you much lesser time to react. you could line up to swing and if bowler decieves you by even bowling slower..batter misses..its fatal in cricket if you miss once in Strike zone ( stumps in cricket )
@GolfingLefty@Jamesh17 thats the most fascinating part of Cricket. and that Skill is developed by years of experience by playing on different kinds of surfaces and conditions. MLB batters only train to read the ball Trajectory thats in the air. Fundamentally different from Cricket.
@JWC7215C@BurdenBurner Rules of the game in cricket is designed in such a way that if bowler decieves you even once , you are permanently dismissed for the day. you dnt come back and try again. In cricket Batters have score heavy Runs like 350 on day to even win it with single chance of batting
@JWC7215C@BurdenBurner MLB batters are used to counter Trajectory of ball thats in the air.. in Cricket all the Trickery is done by landing it on pitch. you can line up to swing it on your right side and it can suddenly move away from you last moment. MLB batters will be dumbfoubded and look like kids
