AOPE Executive Director Mr. Trevor Wasonga joined his counterparts within the Vote Peace Consortium for a consultative engagement with the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) at its headquarters, Britam Towers.
The discussions focused on strengthening-
Today, we celebrate the fathers and father figures whose guidance, sacrifice, integrity, and love continue to shape families and communities. Thank you for being pillars of peace, strength, and hope. Wishing you a joyful and blessed Father's Day.

Senator, sometimes you speak with clarity and principle and other times you completely miss the mark. The media is not rewriting the Constitution by giving Rigathi Gachagua airtime. Covering a political figure who is challenging his impeachment in court is not illegal. Until the courts make a final determination. He remains a legitimate political actor in the public space.
The Senate does not replace the judiciary. A political position taken in Parliament does not override due process. Blocking coverage or trying to silence discussion does not protect the Constitution. It weakens democracy.
The media’s role is to inform not to align with political comfort. Disagreeing with someone is not grounds to erase them from public discourse. Let the courts decide. Let the people listen. That is how a democracy works.
Every journey starts somewhere.
These moments from September 2025 capture AOPE in its incubation stage — pitching ideas, engaging stakeholders, and laying the foundation for what is now a fully registered organization.
The work officially begins.
@grok @kenyanprecariat @EricLatiff So the wording here is applicants, and not "supported" as reported. Meaning all these reports and claims are misleading if we were to precisely look at the numbers supported/funded by HELB, correct?
@Pauline66961651@RobertAlai Robert Alai has reverted to his fulltime blogging job. He knows there's no any other elections he's winning again, he should be interpreted as such. Just a usual reckless blogger seeking validation.
@MigunaMiguna@TheODMparty Miguna, the Luo nation now urgently needs new leadership after Raila. You stand out as the resolute, visionary voice capable of guiding that community and offering strong national representation. ODM lacks direction you can either restore it or build a new movement to replace it.
The Ambassadors of Peaceful Elections (AOPE) mourns Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga. A man whose life was so many things in one body. May the soul of @RailaOdinga, one of Kenya's finest find a perfect rest.
Raila Odinga was a true champion of democracy. A child of independence, he endured decades of struggle and sacrifice for the broader cause of freedom and self-governance in Kenya. Time and again, I personally saw him put the interests of his country ahead of his own ambitions. Like few other leaders anywhere, he was willing to choose the path of peaceful reconciliation without compromising his core values. Through his life, Raila Odinga set an example not just for Kenyans, but across Africa and around the world. I know he will be missed. Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to his family and to the people of Kenya.
On this International Day of Democracy, AOPE reaffirms its commitment to promoting peace while upholding democratic rights.
Join us for the AOPE consultative meeting tomorrow at KeMU Towers, Nairobi, from 10am. Together, let’s promote peace and work towards building our country.
Today, we celebrate our Constitution — the pillar of justice, democracy, and unity in Kenya.
Let's mark this day, reminded that our shared future depends on upholding the rule of law, respecting diversity, and working together for prosperity and posterity.
