WHEN YOU REALIZE THE BABY BOOM WASN'T JUST SOLDIERS COMING HOME HORNY.
It was soldiers coming home to the GI Bill, free college, 0% down home loans, and low interest business loans.

It was confidence that the future was actually going to be better than the present.
That's what produced a baby boom. Not romance. Security.

“Exploiting a tax credit loophole” is another way of saying “exploiting taxpayers.”
Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to subsidize billionaires, and billionaires shouldn’t be allowed to buy the politicians creating loopholes in our tax laws for them.
I know We Just Don't Care is an older one, but I share this once in a while to remind ourselves that even if men do believe women, that doesn't necessarily mean they're going to care. The problem isn't the report. The problem is the culture.
You put your money in a savings account & get paid 0.37% interest, according to FDIC data.
The bank can then put your cash at the Fed & get paid 4%.
Bank lobbyists have blocked the bill to let you cut out the middle man & put your cash at the Fed.
This is called "capitalism."
