My two favorite objections to this bill.

People have no idea how totally fake App Store star ratings can be, or how easily scammers buy them in bulk every day.

@fcbunn isolate the button ID and used the "drag down" feature to generate the code for the remaining 12 buttons and replaced the colors.

1200 lines of code that does the same stuff for 12 different buttons in 12 different colors on 3 different screen sizes.

But yeah it worked :)

@fcbunn My first published Android app had 12 buttons in it. They all did the same action, only difference was the value they sent as well as the color when pressed.

I didn't know much back then so I took the onClick() code for the first button, put it in excel, split it up to ✳️

I’m getting the impression Kosta is going to keep this up until Apple does something meaningful. I kept giving up after a few days of making noise about scam apps. Kosta has been at it for 12 days now and it’s only gaining steam. 👏🏻

@benedictevans I would rather sideload an app that I trust from a developer that Apple won't allow access to the App Store to (for example due to the "no screen recorders" rule) than jailbraking my whole device i.e. giving up the security that I bought my device for.

@benedictevans Why would you not allow people to do what they want with their own devices? Do you remember how long it took Apple to implement screen recording into iOS? And how they wouldn't let screen recorders on the App Store.
