@jonstewart for President 2028! We need you! I know it’s asking a lot considering I avoid middle management because it’s too much work, but you can do it!

Dear @IGN,
Trying to use your site on mobile is Sisyphean torture. The page reloads randomly, shunting me to the top of the article, and often it just crashes my browser tab completely. I’m on iOS + Chrome. Please fix, thanks! #squashdembugs
This industry, mostly, is trash. Major props to the PoP team, though. In a world that made sense y’all and the folks over at Tango Gameworks would be lauded for your excellence, but instead we live in a dumpster fire fueled by cash. #assbackwards#gaming https://t.co/g9SPYhNGzz
Man, it’s really unfortunate that Divine Knockout #DKO didn’t take off. It’s simple, but with room for team play, it’s charming, and most importantly I’m actually kinda good at it. 😡 #ripliveservicegames
The People’s Party of America
Politicians who use aggregate poll results and surveys to shape policy.
Small dollar and “No Favors”-pledged large donations only.
“What’s popular with YOU is what we do.”
It’s time to end the madness!

So much hate beamed at #TEKKEN8 for its microtransactions, meanwhile #SF6 is substantially worse in that regard. Maybe it’s b/c we’ve been there/done that with SF (#SFV), whereas this is #Tekken’s first go at it. Just keep it in perspective, and don’t give #Capcom a pass. #gaming
https://t.co/wt1AUJkJN0 VERY happy to see that this project turned out well, and I’m really looking forward to playing it! Congrats to @Ubisoft and all the devs. In an increasingly cynical industry this is a ray of hope. Go buy it! #videogames#princeofpersia#ubisoft
Really good PS Plus Essential games this month! Evil West, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Nobody Saves the World. The Essential offerings have been noticeably better for a while now. Keep it up @PlayStation ! #PlayStationPlus
@DaemZero@GameScoopIGN been listening to The Daemies, and for Best Kill Gag what came to mind for me was a random event in #HogwartsLegacy where one suit of armor beats the ever-loving crap out of another. It’s good stuff, but not quite sure it meets the criteria for your award.
What about Virtua Racing, Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter, Nights, Shining Force? Not saying I don’t want Sega to take risks. Just wondering if now is the time, and if some of these projects are the ones to gamble on.
Of the nostalgia projects #Sega debuted at #TheGameAwards2023, only Jet Set Radio and Shinobi seem promising. Golden Axe and Streets of Rage feel akin to early gen 5 failures translating 2D to 3D. Crazy Taxi would have to be a very different game to be relevant today.#hopeimwrong
It bums me to be so cynical about revivals of beloved classics, but there are just some strange choices here. Sega is still trying to prove they can nail their biggest franchise, and now they’re going to make a 3D Golden Axe? Lots of other notable games would make easier glow-ups
My wildcard for #TheGameAwards 2023: fresh off their ActiBlizz acquisition #xbox announces a platform fighter packed with the likes of Master Chief, Crash Bandicoot, Sylvanas, Marcus Fenix, etc. except twist—it’s got full 3D movement/arenas. #letmedream#videogames
@DMC_Ryan It’s a crying shame. My only hope is that their first forays into this paradigm, starting with Suicide Squad, will be so disastrous they have to course correct.
Incidentally, this means that DC will continue to fall behind Marvel in the games space as they do in the cinema.
